About the Workshop:

How the 3D Genome Reveals Novel Disease Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets in Cancer

Thursday, September 21, 2023 | 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm ET
NIH, Bethesda Campus, Building 10

Join the experts from Arima Genomics to learn how to apply 3D genomics to your research. In this session, Arima Genomics will discuss how integrating 3D genomics into multi-omic approaches improves biomarker discovery, tumor classification, and patient stratification. Arima Genomics will also share examples of how 3D genomics reveals genetic drivers of previously undiagnosed tumors and provides exciting new opportunities in cancer research and beyond.

Meet the Team:

Aileen Ferraro, PhD

Aileen received her PhD from University of Georgia in 2020, where she studied mechanisms contributing to local chromatin architecture in fungi. She then studied genome plasticity in pathogenic fungi as a Post Doc. Aileen has worked as an applications scientist for global CROs and has served as a technical resource for a wide range of applications, including single cell and proteomics studies. At Arima Genomics, Aileen helps scientists apply 3D genomics to their research questions.
