Corporate Workshop

A Breakthrough in Therapy Selection and Resolution of Diagnostic Dilemmas in Solid & Heme Tumors using 3D Genomics

Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 | 2:00 pm – 2:50 pm MST
Room 250A

Explore the exciting application of 3D genomics in tumor diagnostics and therapeutic selection. Learn how 3D genomics detects clinically actionable fusions and complex structural rearrangements that are missed by FISH and RNA-sequencing methods. Several sarcoma and lymphoma case studies will be presented.

Want to bring this technology to your institution? This event is a must-attend for anyone interested in the latest advances in cancer diagnostics. The workshop will also spotlight a new clinical testing service for solid tumors — the Aventa FusionPlus test.

Coffee and dessert will be served!

Meet the Speakers

Anthony Schmitt, PhD

SVP of Science, Arima Genomics

Anthony Schmitt, PhD, has led the development of the core Arima Hi-C chemistry and technology platform since Arima’s inception, contributed to core inventions and technology development grants, and continues to lead the R&D programs for targeted chromosome conformation capture techniques.

Matija Snuderl, MD

Director of Molecular Pathology & Diagnostics, NYU Grossman School of Medicine

Dr. Matija Snuderl is a neuropathologist at NYU Langone whose clinical research focuses on identifying novel biomarkers for diagnosis and therapy. Dr. Snuderl's laboratory studies cancer genetics and epigenetics and examines the molecular differences between tumors at the cellular level.

Russell Ryan, MD

Assistant Professor of Pathology, University of Michigan School of Medicine

Dr. Russell Ryan is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Michigan Medical School. His research focuses on mechanisms that sustain oncogenic gene regulatory programs in B-cell leukemias and lymphomas, with a goal of identifying cancer-specific dependencies that could be exploited for improved patient care.
