We prioritize projects that utilize Arima’s cutting-edge Hi-C technology to unravel genomic complexities and drive innovations across various research areas.

- Grant Value: Up to $10,000 worth of kits or services tailored to the researcher’s needs, in addition to technical support throughout the project.
- Eligibility: Grant applications from researchers across all career stages are encouraged. Those new to 3D genomics as well as experts are invited to apply.
Research Focus Areas
We invite proposals that ambitiously tackle challenges within these key areas:
Integrate Chromatin Structure with Epigenetic Modifications: Integrating Hi-C with epigenomic datasets to decode 3D genome organization’s role in coordinating regulatory elements and modulating gene expression.
Gene Regulatory Network Mapping: Combining Hi-C and transcriptomic profiles to reconstruct spatial regulatory networks between enhancers, promoters, and disease-relevant genes.
Disease Mechanism Multi-Omics: Applying 3D genomic architecture to multi-omic frameworks, revealing structural drivers of disease and therapeutic vulnerabilities.
Non-Coding (GWAS) Variant Annotation: Mapping spatial interactions to functionally link non-coding GWAS variants with target genes, prioritizing causal regulatory elements.
How to Apply
Submit a compelling proposal, not to exceed 200 words, that tackles a research focus area and meets the selection criteria below.
Selection Criteria
- Scientific Impact: The proposed study’s potential to make a landmark contribution.
- Feasibility: The practical execution of the project, showcasing how Arima technology will be incorporated to address the research question.
- Alignment: The proposal’s resonance with the grant’s research focus areas.
