Don't Miss This Live Webinar on Wed, September 25 | A New Frontier in Pediatric Oncology: Evaluating Hi-C Sequencing for Gene Fusion Detection in Hematologic and Solid TumorsRegister

About the Webinar

Explore the applications of Hi-C sequencing in pediatric oncology. In this webinar, you’ll learn how Hi-C sequencing not only matches the accuracy of traditional diagnostic methods in detecting known genomic rearrangements in pediatric leukemia and sarcoma specimens, but also goes beyond to uncover previously undetected rearrangements. These newly identified rearrangements could significantly impact diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment decisions.

Additionally, discover how Hi-C reveals the underlying chromosomal mechanisms of these genomic rearrangements, including the detection of extra-chromosomal DNA (ecDNA).

What Will You Learn?

  1. The uniqueness of Hi-C sequencing: Explore how Hi-C preserves the 3D conformation of the genome and why this is critical for detecting genomic rearrangements.
  2. Clinical concordance and novel genomic rearrangements: Discover how Hi-C not only achieved 100% concordance with traditional diagnostic tests in pediatric heme and solid tumor specimens, but also identified critical gene fusions not previously detected which could impact diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy selection.
  3. Broad compatibility with clinical samples: Understand why Hi-C excels with a range of challenging sample types, including FFPE tissues, making it a practical method for implementation into clinical NGS workflows.
